Adele, Mervedy and My Self began discussing details on the music video, such as what types of shot types and techniques we wanted to use and the order of them, I showed Adele, Mervedy and Fatima the music video of “Drake’s; Take Care” to show them an idea for potential ideas such as long shots and different colour correction tinting techniques that we could use to help add variety to the video, the whole group liked the idea of different colours being used and tints being applied.
Mervedy put forward an idea for progressive
shots of Adele crying, moving further and further away each time, cutting to
black, Adele combined this with her idea of a girl crying and her make up
running, and Fatima suggested we film it with Adele being surrounded by
balloons, and I suggested we also have some falling.
Adele put forward her idea for a card game being
played between the two girls and the group discussed different ideas on how to
incorporate it with the rest of the video.
