Evaluation Question 3: Chris
What have you learnt from your audience feedback?
In order to analyse the success of our music video (or not), we showed it to various different people with-in our target demographic (Male & Female, 14-20).
During the post-production stages we were sure to get feed back during the stages of editing to make sure that the video was at the best quality it could be and appealed to the audience that we were showing it to. One of the people we showed it to that fell within our demographic said that she liked it but felt that the pace changed too much, as a result of obtaining this feedback I made sure to keep the pace consistent throughout and slow down gradually towards the end to match the music where as before there were noticeable jumps between short and long clips.
One of the people I showed the end result to thought it was a professionally made music video until I told him that I had made it
check out this video my friend made its awesome, i thought it was the real thing! youtu.be/-WSRiC74c2UI also showed the end result to a few people within the same age category on my phone and they all seemed to like the story line even though some didn't like the song. However one person did mention that they felt "there were too many effects" which I partly agreed with; however I had done this in order to be experimental with the visual image, in future I might consider staying away from using so many even so.
